LLU Open House

On Sunday, Loma Linda University had their first campus wide Open House for prospective students. Our Campus Security gave a little demonstration of their K-9's and Mercy Air brought in one of their helicopters. Here are a couple photos from the day. The one getting attacked by the dog is Chet Williams. Check out his site for some awesome photography.

Dorothy, from Campus Security, took me up to the 7th floor of the LLU Medical Center where the north landing pad is for the helicopters so I could get shots of it coming in and landing.

You can see some of Chet's marketing photos on the LLU Medical Centers webpage.

Meet Haley Mattison

We got to meet Haley Mattison for the first time this past Sunday. Isn't she cute.

Dogs

Just some random dog shots from this past weekend.

Rust

These were taken in Healdsburg, CA of an old rotting Chevy and Willy's. It's just sad isn't it. Two of my favorites, gone forever.

Southwest

Just a photo of a wing while flying from Ontario, CA to Sacramento, CA.

Pismo Beach, CA

This past weekend I got to hang out with some really cool photographers in Pismo Beach, CA. They were all from a really niiiiice place called OSP or OpenSourcePhoto.net. It's unbelieveable how nice these people actually are. We communicate all the time online but until you meet them in person, the forum just doesn't do them justice. We are all counting down the days till we can do it again. Special thanks to Erik and Mike of BigFolio for hosting the event and to Colin of ColinMichaelphoto.com for opening up his house for his workshop. You all did an excellent job of organizing this event. And a special thanks to the awesome photographers that came out to teach us a little something...John Michael Cooper of altf.com, Jose Villa of JoseVilla.com, Mike Larson of MikeLarson.com, and Gene Higa of GeneHiga.com. I know I have left some people out, but thank you all. We had members make the trek from New York, Pennyslvania, Florida, Washington, Utah, Texas, South Carolina, and Arizona.

And a special thank you to my roommates...Troy Baker, Mark Christensen, and Eddie Bojorquez.

Here are a few photos from the weekend.

And to help fight AIDS in Africa, go buy something (RED).

San Diego Zoo

We got to spend a few hours at the San Diego Zoo this weekend both for Christina's birthday and for Isabella. It was Isabella's first time to the zoo. She slept part of the time and probably had the most fun in the childrens section where she got to interact and touch the animals.

Here are just a few photos I took of the days outing. Enjoy!
