OK, back to our Europe trip. After we left the Coliseum we walked over to where the government buildings were...also known as the
Roman Forum. Again, simply amazing. Unfortunately a lot of the buildings have fallen down or have been taken apart.

This photo was taken in the jail where Peter and Paul were. This is Stephanie's dad reading a few passages out of the Bible.

We then went over to the
Sistine Chapel and into the
Vatican. That is one ornate place. Stephanie and I walked up to the top of the dome to look out over Rome. It was very windy and a cramped walk, but it was worth it to be that high and to be able to see that much of the city.

I have a few photos left of Rome to share so check back tomorrow for more.
